As a kid, I remember my dad mentioning Tim Duncan playing at Wake Forest when he was drafted to the Spurs. Our town had a school named Lake Forest and I simply thought my father had mis-pronounced the school's name. Thinking Timmy had played for my hometown's school, I became a Spurs fan at age 5. After growing older and finding out that wasn't the case, I never bothered to switch allegiance to a more geographically appropriate team. Why did you pick your team, if it isn't your home town?
我先来说说吧，大概在我小的时候，我的老爹提到蒂姆-邓肯是维克森林大学毕业的，我们小镇有个学校叫雷克森林大学的，我当时天真地以为我的父亲拼错了学校的名字。因为觉得邓肯是我们学校出来的校友，我从5岁开始就成为了马刺球迷，在我长大之后我发现实际上并不是这么回事，但是我也懒得换一支地理位置离我更近的球队了。所以为什么你会入坑自己的主队呢？尤其是那些你入坑的球队不是你的家乡球队的旁友们？

I live in Chicago, and been an Illinoisan all my life (save for a year and a half living in NOLA), so bare with me; but I really like Millwaukee. It's a good blend of big city/small town living. Lots of stuff to do. a quick jaunt to Chicago (and Six Flags) if you want. Millwaukee is rad.

Started getting back into NBA after long hiatus (maybe 15 years?).
Mate of mine told me I need to pick a team (it had been GSW a long time ago, due to Webber). I asked who was the worst team in the league at the time. He said Washington. I said I now go for Washington. Rest is history! That was in around 2010 I reckon.

On 2k I played with the West all star team on 2K. I knew nothing about basketball (live in Scotland) and I liked the beard Harden had, because he reminded me of someone (can’t remember who). So I like the rockets because I liked Harden’s beard.
